This position is responsible for setting up a US-based subsidiary for the marketing, sales and registration of biocontrol products, tox-free rodent control solutions and varroa mite control products. A major part of the products will be sourced from the mother company Andermatt Biocontrol AG, a family-owned Swiss company, well established in the biorational sector, with key expertise in the production of baculoviruses and products for rodent and varroa control.

Description of Job:
Responsible for organizational leadership and scientific expertise in entomology and research related to biorational pesticides, particularly biological and biochemical insecticides. Designs experimental protocols for lab, growth chamber, greenhouse, and field experiments and implements hands-on studies, as appropriate. Interfaces with outside researchers and contract research organizations. Conducts data analysis and interpretation and prepares experimental reports, summaries and recommendations. Prepares and presents technical presentations for internal and external audiences. Oversees the establishment and/or maintenance of insect colonies for internal and/or external research, GLP studies for product registration, and product release purposes. Works in a matrix-style design across internal functional groups, including other Research groups, Field Development, Formulations, Manufacturing, QA/QC, Regulatory Affairs, and Business Management.
