Down load the draft of OTA's comment on the advance notice of proposed rulemaking; comments due Monday (1/28). Please let me know what you think, and please consider filing comments yourselves.

Here's how to file comments:
1. Copy your comment from a text (.txt) file.
2. Click: http://www.regulations.gov/fdmspublic/component/main.
3. Click Optional Step 2 Narrow your search by Federal Department or Agency
4. Scroll to find "Agricultural Marketing Service"You may wish to click on "Submit" at this point to find and select the document you wish to comment on (skip to 7 below).

Or:
5. If you know whether you're commenting on a notice, a rule, or a proposed rule, you may select that type of document under Optional Step 3:Narrow your search by Document Type. This is not necessary to continue.
6. If you know the title of the document on which you're commenting, or its document ID or docket ID, you may select that and enter a key word such as "organic" under Optional Step 4:Please select a Category from the drop-down list below and enter a Keyword. This is not necessary to continue. 7. Click "Submit" at the bottom.
8. When you have identified the document you wish to comment on, click the yellow balloon comment icon at the far right to open a comment form. Click on "Docket ID" to view other comments (click on the document icon to read the comment; click on Document ID to review submitter information). 9. Fill out your name and contact information, and paste in your comment from your text (.txt) file. You may also add attachments in certain document formats, including Microsoft Word. 10. Click "Next step" at the bottom to review your comment; click "Submit comment" again to file it.
