BPPD has implemented a “Submission Readiness Team” to review submissions for completeness very early in the review process.  BPPD uses various checklists in their screening process and has kindly shared them with BPIA through our Regulatory Committee. These checklists should be helpful to ensure submission completeness as registrants review their applications for new active ingredients or new products prior to submission.  Use of these checklists is optional and they are not intended to be submitted to the Agency.  Passing the BPPD early completeness check does not guarantee a favorable regulatory decision, but we believe this mechanism should help reduce instances where deficiencies are communicated late in the review process and possibly leading to delays.
